Brookline Porsche Dealer Plans Overhaul Renovation
A proposal shows plans to replace the existing Porsche of Boston dealership at 1168 Commonwealth Ave. with a new, modern facility.

BROOKLINE, MA – The Porsche of Boston dealership located at 1168 Commonwealth Ave. is planning a complete renovation of its existing facility, according to a proposal for the project.
The site is currently home to two separate dealerships: BMW of Boston and Porsche of
Boston. The project proposal would only affect the Porsche of Boston facility, with no changes
proposed to the BMW dealership.
The changes to the building include building “a curved façade inspired by Porsche’s vehicle design with silver metallic panels and red accent lighting,” redesigning the main customer entrance and adding a new vehicle showroom, and adding a “state‐of‐the‐art service workshop,” according to the proposal.
