Brookline Resident Appointed at Tufts Health Plan: Press Release

WATERTOWN, MA – Tufts Health Plan today announced the appointment of Sherry Copeland to director of Public Plans product management. She will function as the senior relationship manager with regulatory agencies.

In her new position, Copeland will lead the strategic analysis, planning, development, implementation, and monitoring of Tufts Health Public Plans division’s product portfolio. In addition, she will direct individual product managers’ interactions with state customer accounts and monitor conformance with contractual and regulatory specifications throughout the product lifecycle.

Before joining Tufts Health Plan, Copeland served as corporate director of clinical program development at Beacon Health Options. Previously she was the clinical supervisor with Lahey Behavioral Health Services, and prior to that worked as a therapist with Family and Children’s Services of Nantucket. She currently is a member of the adjunct faculty of Salem State University where she instructs the advanced clinical practice class and clinical practicum for master’s level students in the social work department.

A resident of Brookline, Copeland earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Texas, a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Baylor University, and a Master of Social Work degree from Simmons College.
