The nonprofit organization received a sizable grant to assist in a multi-million renovation project.

BROOKLINE, MA—The Goddard House senior living facility announced it has received a $500,000 grant to build a “creative aging hub.”

The nonprofit organization headquartered on 165 Chestnut St. received the donation from The Hamilton Company Charitable Foundation. The Hamilton Company was founded in 2011 by the late real estate developer and philanthropist Harold Brown, and has a history of financially supporting local nonprofits. It is now operated by his brother, Ronald Brown.

The creative aging hub is one part of The Goddard House’s current $16 million renovation.
