Condo Complex Identified As Potential Oil-leak Perpatrator: Report
Multiple geese and ducks were affected by the leak.

BROOKLINE, MA — Investigators have identified the Brook House, a condominium complex located near the Muddy River, as potentially being responsible for the Dec. 8 oil leak into the river that harmed several animals, according to a report from Brookline News.
The structure at 55 Pond Ave. was reportedly given a “field notice of responsibility” by the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection shortly after the leak took place. Brook House management has denied any responsibility and cited the removal of its two underground oil tanks earlier this year, which was later confirmed by the town engineer.
