BROOKLINE, MA - Brookline’s famous sandwich shop Cuttey’s closed down for two weeks to complete a construction project that could bring impressive improvements.

The beloved sandwich joint shut its doors Monday but assured customers it would be back soon.

“Our tiny shop is expanding to make more room for our awesome customers and more kitchen space for us to create tasty sandwiches,” Cuttey’s wrote on their Kickstarter page for the project, which raised them $30,457.

The shop has been featured in a variety of publications and their roast beef sandwich even made an appearance on Guy Fiery’s “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.”
