Five Things, March 29: Jill McCorkle at the Brookline Booksmith
Here are five things going on in town today.

1. Weather: The National Weather Service predicts a chance of showers after 3 p.m., otherwise, the day should be sunny with a high near 55.
2. SoleMates Walking Group: The Solemates, the Senior Center’s walking group, meets regularly on Friday mornings at 10:00 am. For more information, call Julie at 617‐730‐2760.
3. Music Classes at Brookline Music School: The school introduced a folk music program that offers group classes for adults and family jams. Music for iPad classes include Garageband for iPad and iPad Band! Early childhood programs were expanded by offering classes for mixed ages, intergenerational classes, Introduction to Instrumentsand music classes for special needs, in addition to the introduction of Dalcroze Eurhythmics classes for ages 4 to 9 years.

4. Lady Ann & DJ Ice to perform at EPOCH: Popular duo Lady Ann & DJ Ice will return to EPOCH Senior Healthcare of Chestnut Hill on Friday, March 29 from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.
5. Jill McCorkle - Life After Life: ill McCorkle returns to the Booksmith with her first novel in 17 years. At the Pine Haven retirement home in North Carolina, she brings together a diverse cast of residents and staff, plumbing the mysteries of their daily lives and uncovering vital secrets that challenge the "quiet" of retirement at the Brookline Booksmith at 7 p.m.
