Five Things, March 6: Puppet Playtime

Here are five things going on in town today.

1. Weather: The National Weather Service predicts a slight chance of snow before 9 a.m., turning to rain later with a high of 41. The evening will be rainy, turning to snow with a low of 33 and winds up to 36 mph.

2. Puppet Playtime:  is a fun, interactive performance experience designed for very young children (0-3). In each hour-long session, two friendly performers guide children (and their grownups) through free play, sing-a-longs, stories, and imagination games at 10:30 a.m.

3. Project Nursery: You can learn all about modern nursery furniture with help from representatives of our favorite brands, and expert customer service from our team, free nursery design consultations, great deals on nursery products, and more!

4. : An imaginative collection of short stories written in the spirit of Ray Bradbury, join editors Sam Weller and Mort Castle and contributors Alice Hoffman (Dovekeepers), Lee Martin (Break the Skin) and John McNally (After the Workshop) as they discuss the making of the collection. 

5. Brookline Community Band: The Community Band meets in the auditorium at 7 p.m.. Instruments of all types are welcome.
