Former Patriot Danny Woodhead On Cusp Of Qualifying For U.S Open
Patriots Head Coach Bill Belichick opened his new conference with a shoutout to both the Boston Celtics and Danny Woodhead.

BROOKLINE, MA — A former New England Patriot is making a name for himself in the sports world again, but this time it's for golf instead of football.
Since retiring from the NFL after the 2017 season, the former Patriots running back, traded in his football helmet for golf clubs, and he's starting to make some noise. Woodhead is on the cusp of qualifying for the 2022 U.S. Open at The Country Club in Brookline on June 13 to 19.
Woodhead has one major hurdle left if he's to advance — a 36-hole qualifier at the Springfield (Ohio) Country Club on June 6.
