4 Arrests Made In Brookline Shooting

Four people ages 18 and younger were charged Tuesday.

BROOKLINE, MA — The Brookline Police Department has made four arrests regarding a shooting on New Terrace Road that left one person injured.

A 17-year-old juvenile was charged Tuesday with armed assault to murder, unlawful possession of a large-capacity firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building.

Another juvenile, 16, was also charged with unlawful possession of a large-capacity firearm, unlawful possession of a large-capacity feeding device, unlawful possession of ammunition, and being an accessory after the fact.

18-year-olds Thomas May and Guilherme Leal De Britto Pereira were both charged with being accessories after the fact.

Officers responded to the scene at approximately 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11 after receiving multiple calls reporting gunshots in the vicinity of New Terrace Road, and they quickly found bullet shell casings on the scene.

An injured male checked into Brigham and Women’s Hospital with a gunshot wound to hip area, and police later confirmed he was a victim of the incident.
