L.A. Burdick Chocolate Arrives in Brookline
The high-scale chocolate chain opened its newest location earlier this month.
BROOKLINE, MA — L.A. Burdick Handmade Chocolates opened its newest location on 1330 Beacon St., according to the company's website and social media pages.
The Brookline spot is now the third location for the national chain in the Boston area. The company was founded in 1987 by Larry Burdick. After he returned from chocolatier training in Switzerland, he was inspired to bring authentic chocolate to a market that he felt lacked it.
In 2002, Michael Klug took the reins as “head chocolatier.” The business will be open seven days per week from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. L.A. Burdick has seven total locations across the New England, New York, and Chicago areas.
