BROOKLINE, MA — A man wanted in connection with an armed robbery at the Mobil Gas Station on the corner of Cypress and Boylston Street is already facing charges for an armed robbery in Boston, police said.

Brookline Detectives said after working with Boston Police throughout a month-long investigation, they were able to determine that the same man who was arrested and in police custody in Boston in connection with a separate armed robbery there was the same man who robbed the Brookline gas station.

Just before 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 22, a man showed a gun and robbed the Village Mobil Gas Station, no one was hurt and less than a week later police said a person of interest they thought might be associated with the crime was arrested by Boston Police on Jan. 23 for crimes in Boston.
