Marijuana Hidden In Shampoo Bottle At Logan Airport: Patch PM

BOSTON — It's Monday, Dec. 14, welcome back. Here's what Patch has been covering in greater Boston and across Massachusetts today.

The Transportation Security Administration said officers at Logan International Airport on Monday found two bags of marijuana hidden inside a shampoo bottle during a checked baggage screening, not box cutters as they originally reported.

"It was a small amount of marijuana hidden in the shampoo bottle," Massachusetts State Police Spokesperson David Procopio said.

In Brookline, transportation officials are proposing something similar, to the chagrin of some neighbors who say it will make an already clogged section of Brookline Village worse.
