Missing Brookline Woman Found: Police

Shortly after Patch pushed out the police alert asking if anyone had seen the missing woman Thursday, an employee at a bank found her.

BROOKLINE, MA (UPDATED 1:30 p.m.)— An employee of Santander Bank on Commonwealth Avenue found a woman, diagnosed with dementia, shortly after Patch sent out a breaking news bulletin that she had gone missing.

The Beacon Street woman was last seen leaving her apartment at 5 a.m. Thursday with her gray and black terrier. Police put out a call for the public's help in finding her Thursday afternoon, after her family grew worried.

"Thank you all for your assistance- she has been reunited with her family," police said in a statement.
