Senior Living Reps Advocate In Washington D.C.
The group included people from Brookline's Brown Family House.

BROOKLINE, MA — Residents and employees of the Brown Family House on Harvard Street were part of a group that took a trip to the nation’s capital to advocate for senior citizens.
The Brown Family House is a 2Life Community, a Brighton-based nonprofit that constructs and manages senior housing. The group, led by 2Life Chief of Advocacy Emily Levine, met with U.S. Rep and Democratic Minority Whip Katherine Clark to discuss what they perceive as threats by the current Presidential administration on things such as social security, Medicaid, and Medicare.
According to 2Life, they also talked about the Affordable Housing Credit Improvement Act of 2023 which increased the annual housing credit allocation and allowed more flexibility for tenants to be considered low-income.
