State Rep. Vitolo Visits Brookline's Bay Cove Academy
State Rep. Tommy Vitolo spoke with Bay Cove students and staff.

BROOKLINE, MA — Bay Cove Academy recently welcomed State Rep.Tommy Vitolo to address its students about a variety of topics that were on both school and state levels.
Vitolo emphasized the importance of participating in democracy by voting in elections. In addition, he took questions from students about political processes and offered them a tour of The State House.
During his visit, Vitolo also met with the school’s leadership in an effort to address challenges the institution faces such as mental health, transportation, and services for students with disabilities to assist with planning and preparing for life after high school and support for potential post-secondary education.

Bay Cove Academy is operated by the Justice Resource Institute. JRI describes the school as a therapeutic institution for students ages 12 through 22. Vitolo has served as a State Rep. for the 15th Norfolk District since 2018.
