Three Things to Do in Brookline this Weekend
Our Friday preview of weekend happenings.
Take one look at the Brookline Patch Calendar and you'll see there's no shortage of things to keep you and your family busy this weekend. Here are a few of the happenings we're most excited about:
Ever since Brookline Access moved into their huge brand-new studio, they've been trying to find ways to fill all the extra space. They've tried music concerts, cool classes and, now, comedy shows. If you scramble, you can still make it down the studio in time to catch the show at 7 p.m. tonight.
Become a Sack-Race ChampionWhy run when you've can hop around in a burlap sack? The Pierce School's annual FitFest will let you do both. The event kicks off with at 1 p.m. on Sunday with a one-mile fun run and finishes with some 14 field games, including the sack race and ever-popular dunk tank. And as if that wasn't enough, every participant is entered in the "FitFest Fanatic Grand Prize Raffle."
