Waltham Man Charged with Multiple Drug Possession Charges on Harvard Street

The following information was supplied by the Brookline Police Department. Charges listed do not indicate convictions.

Brookline Police responded to a report of two customers at the Coolidge Corner Clubhouse. The manager asked two men, one black, and one white, to leave the restaurant. The men were described as intoxicated and refused to leave, screaming at the manager.

Officers arrived and spoke with the manager. The two men had left the establishment and were heading towards Coolidge Corner. Officers found two men who fit the description of the subjects. Officers spoke with one of the men, who smelled of both alcohol and fresh marijuana.

While speaking with the suspect, officers reportedly observed that the suspect kept placing his hands in his pockets. Officers asked the suspect to keep his hands in sight. When the suspect placed his hands in his pockets again, the officer preformed a pat down and found a pill bottle. There were several different pills in the bottle, some of which were wrapped in plastic bags. The suspect told officers that he had found the other pills.

Officers arrested Antwyan Pridgett, 40, of 730 Moody Street, Waltham, and charged him with two counts of possession of Class B substances, one count of possession of a Class C substance, three counts of possession of a Class E substances.
