A State Police Patrol supervisor was responding to a report of a motor vehicle accident on the corner of Route 9 and Hammond Street on the afternoon of Wednesday, Jan. 15 when he struck a woman approximately 80 years of age while driving at a low speed. The State Police are internally investigating the incident.
