Woman Struck By State Police Cruiser In Brookline: Report

An older woman was hit by a police vehicle while it was on its way to the scene of a car accident.

BROOKLINE, MA — A woman was hospitalized after being struck by a Massachusetts State Police cruiser, according to a report from Boston.com.

A State Police Patrol supervisor was responding to a report of a motor vehicle accident on the corner of Route 9 and Hammond Street on the afternoon of Wednesday, Jan. 15 when he struck a woman approximately 80 years of age while driving at a low speed.

The State Police are internally investigating the incident.
