Today is Monday, March 4. Here are 5 things you need to know:

According to the National Weather Service we can expect a slight chance of rain and snow showers before noon followed by scattered rain showers. Otherwise mostly cloudy with a high near 42 degrees. Slight chance of rain and snow tonight with an overnight low around 30.
- Public meetings: The Burlington Information Systems Advisory Committee is meeting at 7 p.m. in the main hearing room at Town Hall.
- Excise tax: Burlington excise taxes are due Friday, March 8. As a reminder Town Hall is now open until 7 p.m. on Wednesdays and closes at 1 p.m. on Fridays.

- Little bakers: Panera Bread has started a new baking lessons program for children aged 5 to 12. The Panera Bread's Bakers in Training (B.I.T.) program will teach your "Baker in Training" the essentials of kitchen safety, proper food handling and food preparation. Plus, all B.I.T. Kids will be outfitted with their own baking hat and learn to bake their own loaf of bread and decorate a cookie. Cost is $15. Click here for more details.
