Cambridge Firefighters Respond After Smoke Smelled On Brattle Street

Cambridge firefighters are at work on Brattle Street, after earlier reports of a smoky odor inside an unspecified address there.

According to a subsequent update from Cambridge Fire, there is smoke and heat emanating from an electric manhole on the street. Eversource has been called to the scene, Cambridge Fire said.

Earlier reports of smoke at Dickson Bros. were due to the manhole outside on the street, the Cambridge Fire Department confirmed on social media.
