Cambridge Police Arrest Man Accused Of Serious Stabbing

Cambridge Police arrested a 54-year-old Cambridge man and are charging him with assault to murder.

CAMBRIDGE, MA —Cambridge Police arrested a Cambridge man accused of violently stabbing another man late Friday night on the sidewalk across from Cambridge City Hall on Massachusetts Avenue.

A 47-year-old Cambridge man was stabbed in the leg around 11:30 p.m. outside 820 Massachusetts Ave, sending him to the hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries, according to police.

Police said after speaking with witnesses they arrested Jose DeLeon, 54, who lives at the building where the stabbing happened. Police said they found a knife and will be charging DeLeon with assault to murder.
