Cambridge Police ID Cyclist In Fatal Tractor-Trailer Crash
The victim was identified as Darryl Willis, 55.

CAMBRIDGE, MA — Cambridge Police and Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan identified the cyclist who was killed when he was hit by a tractor-trailer near the Harvard Square MBTA Station on Aug. 18.
The victim was identified as Darryl Willis, 55.
On the morning of Aug. 18 Cambridge Police were called to Massachusetts Avenue at Dunster Street for a reported car crash. A 54-year-old man was driving a commercial tractor-trailer westbound on Massachusetts Avenue, away from Harvard Square, when the crash happened.

Once officers got to the area they found the victim dead in the right travel lane and bicycle lane on 1401 Massachusetts Avenue. The driver of the tractor-trailer remained on the scene.
The investigation remains active and no charges have been filed.
