Forklift Joyride Down A Cambridge Street Leads To Woman's 2nd OUI
Cambridge police say they were called to the scene after receiving reports of a "reckless forklift operator" early Sunday morning.
CAMBRIDGE, MA — A Somerville woman is facing her second round of OUI charges, but this time it wasn't with a car.
Elissa Haley, 35, of Somerville is facing charges after police say she operated a forklift in a "reckless manner" down Prospect Street in Cambridge.
Police first received word of the incident just before 3 a.m. Sunday and were able to stop her shortly after arriving at the intersection of Hampshire and Prospect Street.

Haley was placed into custody and charged with OUI Drugs, Wanton Destruction of Property +$1200 and Use Without Authority, Receive Stolen Property +$1200, Operating a Motor Vehicle with License Suspended/Revoked.
On May 13, 2016 Haley was arrested on Somerville Ave. and was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs and shoplifting.
