Harvard hosts Pink at the Rink event to support Mount Auburn Hospital

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. On Saturday, October 25th, Harvard Women’s Hockey hosted its first-ever Breast Cancer Awareness game, where a portion of ticket proceeds went directly to support Mount Auburn Hospital’s Hoffman Breast Care Center. At the event, Mount Auburn oncologist Prudence Lam, MD, and author Alice Hoffman were interviewed on ESPN+ to discuss the Hoffman Center’s impact. Author Alice Hoffman is a breast cancer survivor and the namesake of the Hoffman Breast Care Center at Mount Auburn Hospital. She hosts the annual Pink Pages event which celebrates local authors while also fundraising for the breast center.
