While the reading list is national in scope, it highlights how one Cambridge professional uses these titles to help clients set priorities, manage stress, and work more effectively.
   

• Rent is getting cheaper in these Boston-area cities and towns, report shows (cbsnews.com) — Cambridge now ranks among the priciest rental markets in Greater Boston, with median one-bedroom rents at about $2,990, just behind Brookline. A new Zumper report shows several nearby cities seeing rent drops, while Cambridge and Boston remain at the top end as voters prepare to weigh rent control in 2026.
   

• MacKay will challenge Decker again (cambridgeday.com) — Cambridge’s 25th Middlesex House seat is headed for a high-profile rematch, as labor organizer Evan MacKay again challenges longtime state Rep. Marjorie Decker in the only district entirely within the city’s borders. With support from local officials and a razor-thin 2024 margin, the race will shape representation for West Cambridge, North Cambridge, Cambridgeport, and Mid-Cambridge.
