Canton Students Celebrated At Scholastic Honors Night

CANTON, MA — Several Canton High School students were honored this week for their academic excellence, service, leadership and character, Superintendent Derek Folan and Principal Jeffrey Sperling announced.

The school's annual Scholastic Honors Night was held Tuesday, May 17. Among other honors awarded, the valedictorian and salutatorian for the class of 2022 were announced as Lauren Hernon and Suraj Ramanathan, respectively.

“So many of our students have excelled in the classroom; on the courts, fields, and stages; and in their chosen extra-curricular activities,” Principal Sperling said. “We are honored to properly recognize these students for their many outstanding accomplishments.”

According to a press release, the Canton High School students recognized this week at the 2022 Scholastic Honors Night included:
