Canton Woman Identified As Fatal Victim Of Dorchester Shooting
Tanye Perkins, 31, died from gunshot wounds she sustained in Dorchester on Saturday night, police confirmed.
CANTON, MA - A Canton woman has been identified as having been fatally shot Saturday eveing in Dorchester, according to the Boston Police Department.
Tanye Perkins, 31, died as the result of a double shooting in Dorchester, The Boston Globe reported on Monday.
At about 9 p.m. on September 25, officers assigned to District B-3 responded to a ShotSpotter activation at 240 Westview Street in Dorchester. They encountered two adults, a male and a female, suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The adult female victim later succumbed to her injuries and has since been identified as Perkins.
A BPD spokesman confirmed onWednesday that the male victim is still at a local hospital after sustaining life-threatening injuries and is in stable condition.
