• Teen Charged With Attempted Murder For Monday Night Shooting: Canton Cops (patch.com) — A woman was seriously injured in a shooting Monday night at Canton’s Lamplighter Village apartments, and a 16-year-old Canton resident has been arrested and charged with attempted murder, police report. Canton officers, with a regional SWAT team, executed a search warrant early Tuesday, and officials thanked residents for sheltering in place during the fast-moving investigation. 
• Car slams into gas pump, triggering fire suppression release (wcvb.com) — Emergency crews responded after a car hit a gas pump at the Seasons station by Cobb Corner, where Canton meets Stoughton and Sharon, triggering the fire suppression system. The toppled pump and surrounding area were coated in white powder as a damaged silver vehicle was towed away. No injuries or fuel fire were reported in the busy intersection area.
• Obituary: Ralph Michael 'Bingy' Luongo, 87 (thereadingpost.com) — Canton readers may recognize Lisa Sullivan of Canton, whose father, Ralph Michael “Bingy” Luongo, has passed away at 87 after a period of dementia. Born in Medford and long settled in Wilmington, he was a devoted family man who loved tennis and golf. His family plans a private celebration of life and suggests donations to Minuteman Senior Services.
