• Town to launch search for new fire chief with Robery retiring (thecantoncitizen.com) — Canton officials are preparing a search for a new fire chief as longtime Chief Wendell Robery approaches mandatory retirement this April, while also finalizing a contract with incoming Police Chief Michael Daniels. At the same meeting, the Select Board approved licenses for a new Conrad’s Restaurant at the Village Shoppes, expected to open by early spring and employ dozens of local workers.
