Police Log: Dog Attacks Rabbit, Motorists Behave Badly and More

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, June 12

7:51 a.m. – A motorist called in a traffic complaint about a white van passing standing traffic on the right hand site before making a left turn onto Main Street from Elm, cutting off the line of waiting vehicles. Police attempted to contact the vehicle’s registered owner, but was unable to leave a message.

8:05 a.m. – A Concord woman reported losing an envelope containing $125 in the area of Church Street a few days earlier.

8:27 a.m. – A Foxboro man reported losing his money clip, containing $500 and his license and credit cards, somewhere on Commonwealth Avenue in West Concord.

10:52 a.m. – Police responded to a report of multiple vehicles parked in the fire lane and loading dock near the helipad at Emerson Hospital.

11:09 a.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Bedford Street and Partridge Lane, Cynthia Jean Duprey, of 32 Baldwin Road, Billerica, was arrested on a felony warrant from another department.

12:40 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Elm Street and Commerford Road, an Ashburnham man was cited for operating a motor vehicle with his license suspended and tossing a lit cigarette from a motor vehicle.

2:25 p.m. – A contractor came into the station to turn in four 12-gauge shotgun shells he found during a teardown of a Cottage Lane residence.

4:42 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Walden and Heywood streets.

6:28 p.m. – Police responded into a reported breaking-and-entering to a motor vehicle that been parked in the area of Walden and Heywood streets for about three hours. Reported missing was a bag containing a Kindle.

7:42 p.m. – A Meriam Road resident called requesting to speak with animal control about her dog attacking a rabbit.
