Police Log: Medication Lost and Found, a Stranger on the Porch

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, June 10

7:54 a.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident on Barretts Mill Road.

8:39 a.m. – A Philip Farm Road resident reported a landscaper from Winchester drives at a high rate of speed when he comes to clean a yard on her street. Police responded to the area to speak with the landscaper, but the crew was gone on arrival.

10:37 a.m. – A Lincoln Police officer reported observing a man known to have a revoked driver’s license driving away from the Concord District Court. Police stopped the vehicle on Route 2 west, by Sudbury Road, and arrested Jan C. Little, of 11 Clewey Road, Apt. 1, Medford, on charges of operating a motor vehicle while his license was suspended for operating under the influence of liquor.

10:59 p.m. – A Damon Street resident called to complain about speeding on her street and requested extra speed enforcement there.

3:34 p.m. – A 911 call came in reporting a woman refusing to leave the Concord Health Care building on Old Road to Nine Acre Corner. She was sent on her way.

4:08 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a minor motor vehicle accident in the parking garage at Emerson Hospital on Old Road to Nine Acre Corner.

4:48 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Main Street and Orchard Road, Patrick Shordone, of 75 Washington St., Apt. 1, Hudson, was arrested for violating an abuse prevention order. According to the incident report, Shordone’s passenger in the vehicle had an active restraining order against him.

6:41 p.m. – Emerson Hospital security reported an intoxicated male patient was being combative. The man was restrained and patrols cleared.

7:22 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a man walking on Main Street, by Route 2, who was possibly carrying a rifle. Officers were unable to locate the individual.

Tuesday, June 11

8:15 a.m. – An Elsinore Street resident reported damage to his shrubs that occurred sometime overnight in an ongoing issue.

10:04 a.m. – Police responded to Grant Street, where a resident reported an ongoing issue with a vehicle that parks in front of her house and partially blocks the end of her driveway. The responding officer ticketed the vehicle and called its owner.

2:12 p.m. – Police responded to Main Street, where there was a disabled motor vehicle that had run out of gas.

3:16 p.m. – A member of the Beede Center staff called to report an older man was harassing another older member. A detective planned to follow-up.

4:06 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Sudbury Road and Grant Street.

5:52 p.m. – A Main Street resident came into the station and told police Wilmington Police detectives informed him they located his prescription pill bottled in the possession of breaking-and-entering suspect they arrested. The pills were reportedly stolen from his vehicle, according to he incident report.

9:15 p.m. – A 911 call came in from Partridge Lane, where the resident reported an unknown person was spotted on their porch and ran away when her daughter screamed. Police were unable to locate the person in question.
