1. Family Festival kicks off today! Now through July 4, check out Danvers Patch every morning to find out what Family Festival events are taking place. If you're at any of the events, be sure to send us your photos

2. Tonight, as the kick-off to Family Festival, Danvers resident Anna Bertini will be receiving the Baron Mayer Award at the Champage Gala at Glen Magna. Bertini is a town meeting member, president of the town's Garden Club, board member of Danvers Kiwanis and Danvers Historical Society, and a former Family Festival chairwoman. Town Manager Wayne Marquis said "Anna is a wonderful volunteer involved with many things. a very deserving person." Congrats, Anna!

3. Join Ira Lexus today from 1-5 p.m. for their Child Safety Program, Kids of all ages will receive FBI quality digital fingerprints and photographs. Learn more . 

4. Neighborhood Night at the Movies: 105.7 WROR and the are hosting a free showing of Happy Feet 2 on a blow-up screen under the stars tonight. Grab your chairs, blankets and snacks the join us for music, games and prizes starting at 7pm. The movie will begin at sunset.
