3. Today's 5 Things Pic: Marc McLaughlin of Danvers gearing up for the with teammate Tedy Bruschi. McLaughlin and Bruschi ran as part of Tedy’s Team which was formed with the American Stroke Association following Bruschi’s stroke in 2005 to support and honor survivors and loved ones affected by the No. 1 cause of long-term disability. This year alone, team members raised over $350,000 totaling more than $2.1 million for stroke research and education since the program’s inception.
4. Congratulations: The awarded $12,000 in Scholarships this year, including Danvers resident Sara Perry. The scholarship was presented to ten kids across Massachusetts.
