5 Things To Start the Day, June 25
Your daily guide to the events and happenings in Danvers.

Welcome to 5 Things, your daily resource for community events and happenings in Danvers. Here are five things to start the day, June 25.
1. Fund A Foot: Here's a new fundraiser, posted on the Danvers Rail Trail Facebook page: "Have you noticed the short “teaser” stretches of compacted stone dust at the Hobart Street parking lot, Tapleyville and by Danvers Indoor Sports? These sections were generously funded by the Danvers Bi-Peds as a demonstration of what the finished surface of the trail will be – we know no one loves the coarse gravel base, and we hope to complete the trail with a better surface within the next year. Your tax-deductible contribution will help us purchase and install this much-needed top coat. At $2 a linear foot, why not contribute and help us complete the trail? Visit our website for more information."
