1. Tonight Mary Ellen Manning will be opening her new campaign headquarters at 46 Main St. in Peabody from 6-8 p.m. Refreshments will be served and the public is welcome to attend.

3. The positive to dreary weather: Town Manager Wayne Marquis told the Selectmen on Tuesday night that despite being six inches under the average rain fall amount this year, given the last week's worth of rain, Middleton Pond is full and the Ipswich River is flowing steadily. Marquis said the town is not envisioning having to bump up water level restrictions any time soon. 

4. Swamp Walk Gifts: Five monetary gifts were  at Tuesday night's Selectmen meeting, ranging from $25 - $1000. The Board accepted the gifts, reminding residents that roughly $3500 is still needed for the trail. To donate, send a check to the , with the Swamp Walk written in the notation.

5. Today's Weather: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 70.
