3. Shut up about your perfect kid: Sound like something you've said? Tonight, co-authors Gina Gallagher and Patricia Konjoian of , will be speaking at . The free event starts at 7 p.m.
4. Today's Weather: A chance of showers, mainly before 3pm. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 54 degrees (what!?)

5. Starting today, will be accepting nominations for outstanding young volunteers for the 2012 Kohl’s Cares Scholarship Program. Nominations for kids ages six to 18 will be accepted today through March 15 at kohlskids.com, and nominators must be 21 years or older. Through the program, Kohl’s will award more than 2,200 young volunteers more than $440,000 in scholarships and prizes honoring kids who have made a positive impact on their communities. How cool would it be if a Danvers student won?
