DANVERS, CT — Aldi is opening a new store at the end of the month in Danvers. The German grocer known for its discount prices is opening at the 100 Independence Way location Jan. 26, according to Boston 25 News.

The store offers fresh produce, pantry items, fresh baked goods, frozen foods, and more.

Aldi currently has 19 locations across Massachusetts, according to the company's website.

ALDI operates more than 2,100 stores across the country. It's the fastest-growing grocery chain in the country and as of April became the third-largest, Retail Brew reported. Walmart is the country's largest grocer with Kroger coming in second.
