'Avoid The Area': Icy Warning Amid Danvers Water Main Break

DANVERS, MA — The Danvers Department of Public Works warned of possible icy conditions in the areas of Spring Street and Nichols Street on Friday morning as crews worked to fix a water main break amid freezing temperatures.

Danvers DPW said crews were working to locate and repair the issue "as quickly as possible."

"With the cold temperatures, icy conditions may develop," Danvers DPW said. "Please try to avoid the area if possible. If necessary, please use caution when traveling in the area."
