Body Found in Mill Pond in Danvers Identified
The 28-year-old Danvers man died as a result of an accidental drowning.

Danvers, MA - A 28-year-old Danvers man was identified as the person who drowned in Mill Pond behind the Peabody Institute Library on Tuesday.
Massachusetts State Police detectives assigned to the Essex District Attorney’s Office and Danvers Police have identified the man found in Mill Pond in Danvers on March 15 as Anthony Munroe, 28, of Danvers.
Investigators believe that Mr. Munroe died as a result of an accidental drowning.

The body was reported to Danvers Police at 12:37 p.m. on Tuesday by a person who had parked nearby to eat his lunch. Danvers Police and Fire responded and the body was recovered by the Fire Department’s water rescue unit.
