Vehicle Falls Off Tow Truck, Crashes into Sylvan Street Home

A small truck fell off the back of a tow truck and hit a house at 131 Sylvan Street just before 1 p.m. this afternoon. 

Captain Patrick Ambrose said a tow truck was traveling down Sylvan Street with a small truck in the back. "The truck detached somehow and ended up striking the house," Ambrose said. 

Asst. Building Inspector Dave Harris assessed the scene. Ambrose said there appeared to be no major structural damage. 

No injuries were reported.
