Create, Decorate and Donate! Have a flare for decorating?
Danvers Historical Society is accepting applications now through November 4th to donate a faux tree or wreath for the Parade of Trees.
Through the years, individuals, families, organizations and businesses have donated beautifully created displays to herald in the holiday season. We hope you’ll become a donor and bring your magic touch to the Parade of Trees 2025.
Since 2009 donors have created holiday decorations with a variety of themes. All of the December holidays, including Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and Winter Solstice have been celebrated. Activities such as cooking, gardening, crafting and exercising have also been used for themes as well as popular culture symbols, such as Legos, Star Wars, Dinosaurs, Barbie, Cookie Monster, Winnie the Pooh and numerous superheroes.

KEY DATES:
September 15: Sponsorship Opens
October - November: Sign Up to donate a tree/wreath
November 4: Firm Deadline to Donate a tree/wreath
November 21, 22, 24: Tree Setup
December 3-7: Parade of Trees
All the trees and wreaths will be raffled off and winners notified by phone on Sunday, December 7th. Raffle tickets are $1.00 each. All proceeds benefit Danvers Historical Society’s education and preservation programs. Danvers Historical Society is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
