Danvers Conducts Townwide Phone Survey

When taking the survey, remember that the town cannot control the number of celebrity deaths.

DANVERS, MA – In mid-January, the town of Danvers will conduct a telephone citizen survey to contribute to a planning study for the community. The survey is meant to measure how citizens feel about town services, identify issues, challenges, and opportunities for the town.

The anonymous telephone survey will be conducted by GreatBlue Research, Inc., a research firm in Dedham, Mass., and Cromwell, Conn. A random sample of residents will be called until they complete 400 surveys, starting the week of Jan. 9, and caller ID will show that GreatBlue is calling, or 860-740-4000, or a variation on the last number.

The survey is also available online from Jan. 16 to Jan. 27 at the town of Danvers website.

"The Town of Danvers has long prided itself on providing quality services to its residents in a cost effective manner. This survey will allow us to ask residents directly, How are we doing?" said Town Manager Steve Bartha in a press release. "It will also give us an opportunity to discover what kinds of projects and services residents value most, which helps us provide program and policy options for elected officials to consider. We can do anything, but we can’t do everything."
