Danvers Coronavirus Threat Rises In Latest State Report

In the most recent update of the state's coronavirus map, Danvers's case count and positive test rates rose.

DANVERS, MA — Danvers remained in the "lower risk" coronavirus designation, according to data released by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health Tuesday.

The percentage of positive test results for Danvers residents over the past 14 days rose to 1.53 percent. The number of new cases, 13, was also higher. For the two weeks ended Aug. 12, Danvers recorded a daily incidence rate of 3.25 new cases per 100,000 residents.
