DANVERS, MA — The new coronavirus outbreak in Massachusetts and across the country is having vast impacts in Danvers. Patch has compiled this round-up of the latest, local coronavirus news.

Danvers Public Schools partnered with a former student to begin offering stress and anxiety relief to elementary school students and families through a yoga and mindfulness program. Julie Campilio offered her first Zoom class last week and had 125 families register.

"I grew up and went to school in Danvers and struggled with anxiety. After finding yoga and mindfulness I created a business to help youth build healthy coping skills through deep breathing techniques, mindfulness and guided relaxation- tools I wish I had when I was younger to make life a little less anxious," Campilio, founder of Roots Up, said. "Since stress and anxiety are at an all-time high, I am deeply committed to helping youth and their caregivers develop tools to self-soothe."
