Danvers Declares Snow Emergency Parking Ban For Weekend Winter Storm
The parking ban was set to begin Saturday night.

DANVERS, MA — The Danvers Department of Public Works has declared a winter parking ban as of 10 p.m. on Saturday with up to 7 inches of snow forecast to fall across parts of the state through Sunday.
This ban prohibits on-street parking throughout the town at any time.
This ban will remain in effect until all winter operations related to the coming storm are completed.

Snow was expected to fall heavy at times Saturday night into Sunday morning before the precipitation turns to ice and then rain along the coast, with an extending period of freezing rain possible inland.
