Danvers High's Georgia Prouty, Peabody's Ally Bettencourt Earn Top NEC Honors
Georgia Prouty was named NEC Girls Soccer Player of the Year. Ally Bettencourt was named NEC Field Hockey Player of the Year.
DANVERS, MA — Danvers High School senior Georgia Prouty was named the Northeastern Conference Girls Soccer Player of the Year after leading the Falcons to a 9-2-2 regular season record this fall.
Danvers finished second in the regular season to league-champion Masconomet.
Masconomet's Alison Lecesse was named the NEC Coach of the Year.

NEC All-Conference players included Peabody senior Alessandra Forgione, Danvers junior Ashley Freitas, Peabody senior Connie Patturelli and Swampscott sophomore Greta Siefkan.

Dunn Division All-Stars in field hockey included Danvers junior Lila Doucette, Danvers junior Addi McCarty, Beverly senior Sami Fogarty, Marblehead sophomore Callie Gilmore, Marblehead senior Ava Machado, Peabody senior Brooke Lomasney and Peabody senior Madi Barrett.
Lynch Division All-Stars included Salem High senior Sydney Agno, Salem senior Samantha Agno, Swampscott junior Fiona Keaney and Swampscott sophomore Cecilia Tripp.
