Danvers To Host Free Annual Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day
Residents can drop off gasoline, oil, pesticides, chemicals and other household waste at the transfer station on Oct. 5.
DANVERS, MA — Danvers residents cleaning out their basements, garages and sheds ahead of the winter can dispose of household hazardous waste items during the town's only waste collection day of the year on Oct. 5.
The free collection for residents only will take place from 8 a.m. to noon at the transfer station on East Coast Road off Route 1 South.
Clean Harbors will assist as the contractor. This event is not a curbside collection — residents must bring their materials to the Transfer Station. It’s as simple as popping your trunk.
