On Jan. 11, after noticing two men at a Salem Street gas station behaving nervously, Whaley noticed a man enter a Honda Accord and exit after a short period, and sped off heading south on Rte. 128, with another vehicle heading east on Salem Street, according to police. Officers stopped both vehicles, and further investigation by Whaley lead to him locating large bundles of cash totaling over $6,000.
K-9 units searched the Accord, which was held at the police department until officers could secure a warrant, according to police. After a search, Delrosario was arrested and recently arraigned in Malden District Court, according to police.
