Danvers 'Major' Water Main Break Closes Park Street

DANVERS, MA — Danvers Department of Public Works crews were working to repair what was described as a "major" water main break on Park Street early Thursday night.

Danvers DPW said the break occurred between Chase Street and Damon Street.

"Due to the severity of the break, this portion of Park Street is closed to all motorists and will not be passable," DPW said at about 6 p.m. on Thursday.
