Danvers Route 114 Lane Closure Disruptions Begin Next Week

Traffic on Route 114 will see disruptions beginning on Wednesday and extending into the following week.

DANVERS, MA — North Shore drivers who travel Route 114 during the day should expect disruptions beginning next week with lane closures traffic in Danvers and Middleton.

The state Department of Transportation said the Danvers work will take place from the Middleton town line to Veronica Drive in Danvers. Work will also take place overnight on Route 114 in Middleton.

Road work will begin on Oct. 9 at 6 a.m. and is scheduled from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Oct. 10, Oct. 11 and Oct. 15.

Overnight work in Middleton will take place on Oct. 7 and Oct. 8.

The work is being conducted as part of a $4.6 million project for roadway reconstruction and related work on a section of Andover Street (Route 114).

Signage and messaging will be in place to guide drivers through the work area.

Drivers traveling through the affected area should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
